Sashiko Patches for Denim Mending
Date: July 31
Time: 5PM – 7PM
Cost: $20A traditional sewing technique from Japan, Sashiko means “little stabs,” which perfectly describes the distinctive running stitch that defines Sashiko's style. Boro is the result of generations of repetitive sashiko repairs, patches, and reworking the same textile to extend its use for generations. This workshop will introduce you to how to use these visible mending techniques on denim.
